BACK-TO-SCHOOL IDEAS
This post was written in order for teachers to share any Back-to-School ideas with fellow staff members. You could share a classroom management idea, method of establishing parental involvement, discipline management ideas, and so on. Be sure to go into some detail about your ideas so that others might be able to implement them in their own classroom.

Looks great... I submitted a back to school post. I am going to hand out a "Getting to Know you" sheet for the students to fill out and take home to parents. Hoping that this will start great communication with the students and the parents. :) Andrea

stole an idea from Nikki, I made a scavenger hunt based on my web page for a first day activity. The kids used the SMART board and the laptop I have checked out from the library and worked together to complete it. It was great I didn't have to stand there every hour and tell them everything we're doing this year they were able to discover it for themselves. Then the second day i gave them a 5 question pop quiz on me, all answers had been on my web page. The kids had a great time and it was a great way for me to find out who the leaders are in each group as well as assess their web knowledge.
Testing 1,2,3 ....wanting to check and see if some new settings are working......please ignore this post!
