Sturgeon TEC talk!

Are we ready to talk about how we can utilize technology? I have been reading a lot on Twitter. If you have a twitter handle, which I suggest, it will become a great information tool.  My handle is: artteacherk8mo
I am also putting my favorite education tweets on my website. Lastly, I have started a blog about Technology on my Google Sturgeon Account (not as friendly as the G+ or the edblogs)
Here is the Sturgeon TEC blog.. it's under my name but titled Sturgeon TEC... It won't let me change it now.

Kagan Klub

Hello Kagan Klub members!
As you may already know we thought it might be easier to maintain communication via this wonderful blog. The purpose, we felt, would be to ask questions, provide support, share success stories and flops. We agreed that we'd post at least one comment per month starting in March. Comments are expected to be submitted by the 15th of every month. We also hoped that this would be more successful than our before and after school meeting attempts.
Well, with the nitty-gritty out of the way... Let the collaboration begin!!!

INTRODUCTION TO THE STURGEON R-V SCHOOL'S PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT BLOG SITE.....

Welcome to the Sturgeon R-V Professional Development blog site!

The members of the Professional Development Committee decided that it would be a good idea to create a site where teachers could share ideas and/or information that they receive from conferences, workshops, book studies, online learning, other colleagues, etc.....

After attending professional development activities that are funded by the Sturgeon PDC we ask that you post a brief synopsis of the information that you found to be helpful. We also encourage you to read other people's posts and respond to them as well.

The PDC will be monitoring these posts on a regular basis to ensure that everyone is taking part. If you have any questions please feel free to ask any PDC member. Thanks and happy sharing......

BACK-TO-SCHOOL IDEAS

This post was written in order for teachers to share any Back-to-School ideas with fellow staff members. You could share a classroom management idea, method of establishing parental involvement, discipline management ideas, and so on. Be sure to go into some detail about your ideas so that others might be able to implement them in their own classroom.
